Now seeing that this is a competition piece, it is very compact and has potential for major flaws. Considering the time and effort put into it, I am very happy that it doesn't crash.
Most amusingly, I made this game entirely on a HP Mini (a netbook, mind you). I did this, because I want to flex my coding skills by placing this limitation on myself. Granted, the game is very minimal in effects and design, but it most certainly should work on nearly any computer.
There was a particular glitch where if you die due to contact with the enemy, the life counter wouldn't change. That's fixed now. And sometimes the unpredictability of the enemy (having given them a random direction change every few steps) would be stressful in combating against it. I guess you could say it has retro-frustration.
Still, if you are looking to kill some time with tense game, try out this free game...made within 24 hours by just me.

So I hear there was a #XBoxReveal today. What opportunities does it give Indies? Not really invested in the idea...just was curious.
