Developer's Game Description
Space Salvager is a top-down 2D space shooter, where the player travels around a sandbox space environment. The game is broken up into different types of sectors which all have different purposes: there are pirates, asteroids, debris, planetary and barren sectors. So you can mine asteroids, harvest debris, explore uncharted space or just go hunt down some pirates. You can fully customise your space ships equipment by changing the shields, armour, engines and weapons. You can also build different ships with different types of metal, which will change the ships hull and overall speed. Throughout the game you level up by completing missions and defeating pirates; every time you level up you can get access to a new ship and spend skill points to unlock bigger and better weapons. The overarching goal of the game is to build the best ship and get the best equipment.
